TEHRAN – Iranian people’s lifestyle, including their entertainment, discourse, relationship and appearance, has changed drastically in recent years, Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani-Fazli has said.

In an interview with the Hamshahri newspaper published on Sunday, Rahmani-Fazli pointed to the Interior Ministry’s recent report on January’s nationwide protests, saying the protests had political, economic, and social roots which should be taken into serious consideration.

The minister highlighted the importance of cultural changes in different generations, saying any disregard toward generational changes will lead to big mistakes in understanding the population.
